April 2026 Newsletter

Spring Forward

April has that feeling of momentum. The days are longer, the year is hitting its stride, and the work you set down in January is finally starting to show results. It’s a good month to look at your accessibility process and ask a simple question: is this easier to understand than it was last month?

That’s the theme of this update. We’re focused on making the information AAArdvark gives you easier to read, easier to act on, and easier to share with the people who need it.

New Updates in AAArdvark

Here’s what’s new in the AAArdvark accessibility testing platform:

  • Human-Readable Issue Titles and Descriptions – If you’ve ever stared at an accessibility issue title trying to figure out what it actually means, this one’s for you. Your issues now have plain-language titles and a short explanation built right in. Instead of cryptic technical messages, you’ll see human-friendly titles that tell you what’s wrong, plus a description underneath that explains why it matters and who it affects. You’ll see the new titles and descriptions everywhere your issues show up: in the issues list, on issue detail screens, in PDF reports, in XLSX exports, and in your scan and weekly summary emails.
  • Confirmed Issues – Warnings and manual-review items are useful, but they can clutter your list and muddy your progress numbers. Confirmed Issues lets you review those items, mark the real ones, and dismiss the rest. The result is a cleaner list, accurate progress tracking, and clearer communication across your team about what actually needs attention.

Keep Moving Forward

Spring is a good time to build on what’s already working. Small improvements add up, and the people using your sites notice when things get easier to navigate, even if they never tell you directly. Progress over perfection, always.

Thanks for moving forward with us ☀️
