Clearing the Path
Late summer is good hiking weather, and every hiker knows the difference a clear trail makes. You move faster, you stay oriented, and you spend your energy on the climb instead of the detours.
This month we cleared a big one: we rebuilt the issue detail screen, the place where triage actually happens, so the path from seeing a problem to fixing it is now a straight line.
New Updates in AAArdvark
Here’s what’s new in the AAArdvark accessibility testing platform:
- A Rebuilt Issue Detail Screen – We redesigned the screen where you review and resolve issues, built around one goal: keep the fix guidance in view while you work. Instances now sit on the left with a documentation card pinned alongside them on the right, so you’re no longer scrolling back and forth between an instance and the guidance that explains it. Highlights:
- Tabbed guidance where you need it – What it means, How to fix, and Code example are now tabs right next to your instance list, with Success Criterion and Techniques as clickable cards when you want to go deeper.
- A clearer status picture – A status donut shows your Active and Done breakdown at a glance, including what still needs review versus what’s resolved.
- Keyboard shortcuts for triage – Move between instances, submit for review, confirm, or dismiss without touching your mouse. You can enable, disable, or remap them per user – a triage flow that works the way accessible interfaces should.
- A dedicated space for manual reviews – Instances that need human confirmation now get their own screen, with guardrails that check before you dismiss or resolve anything unconfirmed.
- Faster loading on large workspaces – Big accounts will notice the whole screen feels lighter.

- Accessibility Score + Workflow Clarity – We’re working on an accessibility score for your sites, a clearer workflow to go with it, and a trend report so you can watch your progress over time. It’s coming next month, and we can’t wait to show you.
