October 2025 Newsletter

Frights, Sights, and Accessibility Bites

It’s October, and while the web gets spookier with ghouls and ghosts, we’re busy catching accessibility issues before they haunt your users. Here’s what we’ve been building this month.

Need a focused accessibility check without the commitment of a full site audit?

Snapshot Audits deliver fast, targeted reports on the pages that matter most. Test 1-5 pages at a time and get a curated list of the most important issues to fix first. This makes it easy to:

  • Spot-check key pages or recent changes
  • Test prototypes before they go live
  • Get quick answers on specific sections of your site

You get actionable insights without the noise. Fast, flexible, and focused on what matters now.

New Updates in AAArdvark

Here’s what’s new in the AAArdvark accessibility testing platform:

  • IBM Runner – Powered by the IBM checker, scans will now give deeper insights and capture more issues in AAArdvark.
  • Scan Completed Email – You’ll now get an email summary each time a scan completes with helpful information around the scan results.
  • Bulk Actions for Pages – Pages can be bulk-selected and scanned or deleted.
  • Webhooks – AAArdvark can now pass along issue and scan information to your existing tools with our new Webhook integration. Automatically create tasks in Asana, Jira, or other task tracking tools when accessibility issues are reported.

Coming Soon

We’re creeping closer to launching some exciting new features and quality of life updates:

  • Follow-up notifications on Issues – Automatically get reminders to recheck issues so nothing gets missed.
  • Tugboat Preview – You’ll soon be able to run accessibility scans directly in Tugboat previews. Instant feedback before you merge, because prevention is the real treat.
